With over 30 years of Senior Sales, Print & Mail Production, Direct Mail Marketing, Leadership, Project & Campaign Mgt., Analytics, Creative Mgt., Procurement and Operations experience, Michael Rego formed DMM Print Solutions to offer clients hand-crafted solutions to their printing, direct mail and marketing collateral needs. Most recently Michael was working as a Consultant at Citigroup in the Credit Cards business unit managing multiple Direct Marketing projects & programs, 2 with spends over $10MM. As a third generation printing & direct marketing professional, business owner and sales executive, he brings a well-seasoned perspective and cross functional skill set to all projects and programs.
At Citi Michael engaged multiple cards marketing partners ( internal & external ) and managed programs utilizing my printing / mailing production expertise, database management, marketing/communications, multi-channel marketing expertise to lead marketing partners to creating customer centric communications while identifying opportunities for production efficiencies, consolidation and standardization via Demand Management. Partnered across multiple teams; Business Marketing / Communications, Database Marketing / Communications, CMO, CFO and Strategic Marketing Communications teams to produce and execute relevant Direct Mail & Email Credit Card Marketing programs. Michael was a very strong partner across the Credit Cards business unit, driving cross group savings as part of a multi-channel analysis teams within Citi. In 2014/2015 he consolidated multiple programs and data, driving significant print production and postage savings.
Michael grew up in the direct marketing/printing industry at his family business King Lithographers ( founded 1957, 4 major expansions ) and learned firsthand from his father, working in every dept of the facilities: all stages of art design, copy & layout, print production, pre-press, print quality, paper, bindery, finishing, plant operations, managing employees, established core business values and company mission. Along with being Vice President of King Lithographers he became President of King Mail Corp — Michael grew King Mail to become the largest Direct Marketing Provider in the Westchester, Rockland and Mid-Hudson Valley Postal District. Michael built the business management, production, operations and marketing expertise through hands on architect print/mail solution framing, database management, segmentations, copy/design review, automated workflows, analytics and campaign analysis etc., in addition to becoming a USPS Postal Mailing expert. Michael served on the Executive Board of the Postal Customer Council for over a decade & was Industry Co-Chairman for 4 years.
During his long career Michael has partnered with many corporate marketing departments, premier ad agencies and top designers — creating, developing and executing thousands of successful printing, direct mail, email and digital marketing campaigns. This life time experience is unmatched and compounds added value.
